BEST YOUTH ASSOCIATION May 28, 2005
LONDON: SDC has the Best Youth Association in Ontario according to Past OPCYA President, Mike Wilson, and his Executive. The awards were handed out Saturday, 28 May 05 at the Convention in London, Ontario. Last summer, Mike Wilson, along with Aaron Campbell and James Murphy - then President, Vice-President, and Eastern Chair respectively - attended our General Meeting and picnic. Mike was very impressed with the turnout and enthusiasm. Over the past year, the SDC OPCYA has been active in a number of endeavours. They constantly pursue unique fundraising initiatives. Attending Tory conventions and events is another priority. Last winter, they also organized a bid to host the Spring Convention.
